EUMETNET is inviting external organisations that use its data, products and services to participate in a new survey designed to improve understanding of how EUMETNET data is accessed, used and valued by external users. The feedback will be used to inform future developments and priorities for EUMETNET data and products.
The survey is specifically aimed at external users of EUMETNET data, products and services. It is not intended for EUMETNET Members, National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, ECMWF, EUMETSAT, or WMO, whose perspectives are already represented through existing governance and partnership arrangements.
The findings will help EUMETNET:
- Better understand how its data, products and services are used.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing services and develop future offerings.
- Understand which aspects of its services users value most.
- Strengthen engagement with organisations that depend on EUMETNET data.
- Establish a regular EUMETNET Data User Forum to create a structured channel for dialogue, feedback and the exchange of ideas between EUMETNET and the wider user community.
Survey responses will be used solely to support understanding of user needs, service improvement and future engagement activities. Participation is voluntary, and respondents may choose whether to provide contact details or consent to future contact. Personal data will be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
The survey will remain open until 5 October 2026 and can be found below
